Fairgrounds announce more acts for 2017
The Fairgrounds line up has just grown even bigger with the announcement of five excellent new acts to the already hugely impressive bill.
Anthemic indie rockers Gang Of Youths, brilliant new singer-songwriters (and hugely engaging live performers) Stella Donnelly and Didirri, soft rock/disco powerhouse Donny Benét and much-loved, poetic purveyors of Australiana (and Fairgrounds veterans) Adam Gibson & the Ark Ark Birds.
These acts join the likes of The Shins, You Am I, Future Islands and Jen Cloher, for the festival that we once called ‘a festival for those who’ve outgrown festivals’.
It’s a huge bill with a diverse array of musical talent that will appeal to music lovers of all ages. Such a broad appeal is fitting for a festival like Fairgrounds, which positions itself firmly as a family-friendly event. As well as the music, there are plenty of activities for both kids and adults, including a swimming pool on site!
Gang of Youths, Didirri and Donny Benet join the Friday night bill, headlined by Future Islands, while Stella Donnelly and Adam Gibson will join the Saturday line up.
They full line up is as follows:
The Shins, You Am I, Future Islands, Gang Of Youths, Noname, D.D Dumbo, Holly Throsby, Hockey Dad, Client Liaison, Jen Cloher, Spiral Stairs, Aldous Harding, Marlon Williams, Japanese Breakfast, Stella Donnelly, Didirri, Leah Senior, Jess Locke, The Teskey Brothers, Donny Benet, Tim Wall, Press Club, Adam Gibspon & the Ark Ark Birds
Fairgrounds happens in Berry on Friday 8 and Saturday 9 December. Tickets are on sale now.
